This small Café hidden in a small street between Gare du Nord and Pigalle is a true revelation;

When you come in, you will immediatly notice the ecclectic decor, very colorful and thought to the smallest detail; Really pleasant and relaxing atmosphere;

The welcome and service are quite unusual for Paris; Friendly, and definitly not pushing for increasing your bill; We asked for flat water, and they only serve tap water, arguing that in Paris tap water is as clean as mineral one, and that's true. And their tap water is served called, and believe me you won't notice the difference with Evian.

The food is prepared in a semi-open kitchen, so you can see everything that is going on at the back; Products used are top quality, you can see it from the bread, and the chef, who brings the plates him self, will explian to you where the duck comes from, minimum of 90 days of growing, only fed with natural grains,...

All the dishes are home prepared, and you can feel it. And here we come to the food quality: excellent "joue de porc" entrée, melting with a good mixture of small veggies; Plates are serve with a lot of sauce, well dressed, so it's not necessarily the lightest. But we chose to have chicken and porc and they were not necessarily the lightest. They serve also fish dishes who should be more suitable for people on a diet;

For the quality of food, service and atmosphere, this restaurant is definitly worth a try! At this level of price, it is an excellent value for money in Paris.
