Whenever I visited a natural park or a natural monument, I was amazed by the behavior of some tourists. Well for this I decided to write a few things you should know when you decide to visit such an area.

The national parks are places where the owners are plants and animals that live here. We, the humans we are just the guests. Our primary concern should be to protect them. This is the main objective of a national park, all activities, including tourism, should lead to this goal.

We are not the hosts here; we are just visitors in their world. If we do not care where we go and leave in their "house", traces of our passing, everything's fine. But are we all do this?

Our main concern should be the protection of all the living creatures which live here. Leaving aside what we are not allowed to do, still remains a lot of things that we can do and we can enjoy.

I'm sure theat many of you know that the Earth and other forms of life would live much better without us... the humans.

Here are some things we need to know when we visit these beautiful natural parks:

  • First of all we need to know where is the administrative headquarters, the visitor centers and information boards;

  • Visiting the Natural Park without pay the visitation tax, is prohibited;

  • Camping is allowed only in specially designated and signposted by the park administration, after paying the fee for camping. Digging ditches around the site of a tents is prohibited;

  • Fire lighting is permitted only in the specially designated places;

  • It is forbidden to leave the marked tourist routes and other routes approved and marked

  • For lighting the fire, you are strictly prohibited of gathering or deforestation of woody vegetation of any kind;

  • It is strictly prohibited burning the plant residues at a distance of less than 100 m from the park limit;

  • It is prohibited the abandonment of waste of any kind on the Park area;

  • The tourists have the obligation to collect the waste they generate during their visit in the Park. The wastes will be discharged outside the park in the places for collection or special containers placed at the entrances and exits of the park;

  • The use of radios, cassette players, musical instruments, and other audio equipment, the throwdowns and other sources of noise pollution that causes disturbing the peace or the nature and wildlife trails or other tourists on the camping is prohibited;

  • It prohibits the movement of bicycles on roads, other than those marked for that purpose;

  • The movement of vehicles of any kind (motorized or not) is only allowed on public roads, but also on the authorized forest roads up to the signs or barriers that limit the access;

  • The bathe as well as the the use of detergents, in the rivers or in the lakes of the park, are prohibited. Also, washing the vehicles in the waters of the park area, is prohibited.

  • It prohibits the destruction or degradation of the facilities of in the park: boards, signs, markings, etc;

  • It is forbidden the degradation of the refugee, shelters, culverts, barriers, or any construction or development from the Park territory.

  • Is strictly prohibited the dislocation, the sampling of rocks, fossils and vegetation, goods being considered from the national patrimony ever since their discovered, constituting the state property;

  • Tourism and educational activities are permitted only in compliance with the Park Regulation;

  • It is strictly prohibited the voluntary or involuntary feeding of the wild animals;

  • If there are requests for the visited several specific habitats of the protected species of flora and fauna and/or reservations, travelers will be accompanied necessarily by the field agents or tour guides;

  • Capturing species of wild fauna from the park is not allowed. It is not permitted the destruction of lairs, bird nests or the collecting of their eggs;

  • The field agents, the specialized guides or the group leaders have the obligation to prohibit the access to specified routes in the following situations:


a) group too large;
b) unfavorable weather conditions;
c) inadequate equipment;
d) flood hazard;
e) people with inadequate physical or mental condition.

All visitors will receive information regarding the schedule, the visit, duration, the route determined,, the equipment required, any changes to the program and various scientific or technical information concerning the the trail of the visit.

Access of minors will be made only accompanied by specialized guides or parents, who will assume responsibility for any incident or accident.

All visitors will have to respect this Regulation, otherwise their access to the natural parks shall not be permitted.
