The Christmas market in Berlin

Christmas markets are magical lands and attract thousands of tourists every year. In Europe these trade shows have a tradition for centuries. I have visited just a few markets, with their beautiful light shows, Christmas trees, decorations and culinary goodies and I was pleasantly surprised, reminding me very much of my childhood.

One of these is The Christmas market from Berlin. Berlin is known as the capital of devoted Christmas markets that are organized every year. Almost 60 Christmas markets are organized in the big markets of the city, in the historic center, in museums or on the boulevards. Around Christmas, Berlin is enveloped in the scent of the baked apple, red wine, peanuts and crackers with cinnamon and stalls full of gifts studded the city.

It's impossible to leave empty handed, after a look at the hundreds of stands with sweets, toys and Christmas decorations.

The most beautiful themed market is organized at Charlottenburg Palace. In this place, more than 150 dealers throughout Germany bring their most beautiful works of art, antiques, jewelry and fine cuisine. The atmosphere is maintained by baroque and classical music and carol concerts.

Besides all this, you can visit the Parliament building, the television tower, which offers you a beautiful view, and a walk to the Brandenburg Gate to watch the evening.
