Graffitistraat

Graffiti has always created a lot of controversies. Some consider it a lack of respect, yet others embrace it. The people in Ghent do not look down on street art, they do not consider it a sort of vandalism, and they certainly do not want to stop it.
That's why there are even designed graffiti spots in the city, one of which is a street called Werregarenstraat, known as "graffitistraatje" which would be a translation for graffiti street.

This street is all about graffiti and teenagers will certainly go mad for it! You will find a lot of paint shops neighboring this street, where you can grab a spray and start getting creative. However, if you are not in the mood of creating something yourself or you`re just not the creative type, a camera would come in handy. You might want to take a few pictures of the artworks created by the people of Ghent.
