The Museum de Santa Cruz is located in an old 16th century hospital close to Toledo's Alcazar, and represents with Saint Mary Cathedral, one of the most intresting monuments to visit in the city.

The most interesting features of the museum is the building's Plateresque façade and its courtyard and staircase, the work of Covarrubias, as well as its Mudéjar and Renaissance coffered ceilings.

The museum's holds three sections: Archaeology, devoted to the Roman, Visigothic, Moorish and Mudéjar cultures; Fine Arts, with an excellent selection of 16th- and 17th-century paintings from Toledo, among which 18 works of El Greco; and Industrial Arts, with examples of popular culture and traditional local crafts.
