The best way to see all the town is to climb up in the Citadel, which lays high above on a rocky outcrop. Once you reach the top you can enjoy the absolutely spectacular view of the town. Visitors are free to wander around the Citadel and it can be reached by car, bus, foot, but there are also minibuses that will take you there. If you go with a bus or a minibus you will have to stop at the Terranova.

If you get hungry while wandering on the streets of Namur, there are many fine restaurants and places where you can grab a bite. However, I would recommend Brasserie Henry, you will surely find there well-priced Belgian cuisine and you don't have to be scared if you are a vegetarian, offerings for vegetarians are also included in the menu.

If you want to eat good and tasty mussels La Bruxelloise is the best place to do that. This restaurant is well-known for its quality mussels. some even say that they are the best you can eat in the town. However, if you are not in for a fancy meal that is not at all cheap, you can always grab a sandwich at Le pain quotidien.
