South Africa is a wonderful country, so I am going to enumerate some reasons, which I hope to convince you to visit it.

I urge you to visit South Africa because you will be able to visit and admire the following: Safari, exotic animals, Zulus, football, rugby, extreme sports, incredible beaches, parks, hotels and restaurants of the highest quality, some of the best wines in the world and an overwhelming history.

First of all you should not miss the Kruger National Park -a park considered a veritable heaven for thousands of years. For the South African hunters and gatherers, the Kruger National Park, has become today one of the largest and most famous natural reserves of the world. Here you can admire 1982 plant species, 517 bird species, 147 mammal species and 114 species of reptiles, including 3000 crocodiles. In the park can also be found 350 African wild dogs, a species of which there are less than 400 copies.

South Africa has the biggest baobab in the world. The tree about I will tell you, is in the small village of Modjadjiskloof, in the north and is one of the main attractions of Limpopo municipality. Its age exceeds 6000 years, making it even older than the Egyptian pyramids. What is interesting about this tree is one of his characteristics… the more older he is, the trunk remains empty inside, but this does not affect his existence. Today, in the great auditorium of the tree it is a bar with a capacity of 60 seats. Does it seem a lot? Then I must tell you that today, the baobab circumference is 47 meters, and his height is around 22 meters.

Among other interesting places to visit, I suggest you the Südwind Caves. These are located in the province of Mpumalanga, in the east of South Africa. The Südwind Caves are considered the oldest caves in the world, with an age that exceeds 240 million years. Moreover, the rocks that form the walls of the caves dates from the Precambrian, being formed 3.8 billion years ago. Südwind Caves host today some beautiful concerts, and offers the tourist a journey of 5 hours among some of the rarest and most beautiful creations of nature, including the famous Crystal Room, made of aragonite crystals.

If you are among the lovers of water, sand and sun, you should not miss the Durban beaches. Here you will find palm trees, golden sand, huge waves - ideal for surfing, lagoons with calm waters in which to spend time with family, five-star hotels, luxury apartments and one of the largest and wealthiest ports of the world, all in a warm climate throughout the year, specific of the Indian Ocean.

These are just a few reasons to visit South Africa ... but of course there are many more! Do not forget to take your camera, you will remain with some great memories!
