The Taj Mahal may be the most renown building ever build by a man driven by the love to it's woman. But Taj Mahal is not the only building.

The Sturdza Palace from Miclauseni is also called Castle for Maria as it was build by Gheorghe Sturza for his young wife Maria.

Build in a neo-gothic style the castle is consider a wonder in the architectural world. When you visit the castle and it's surrounding you will feel like it's an empty deserted place. It feels like you are walking on histories path, a history rich in wars and the hatred of the communist regime towards the royal and the religions aspects.

Still, the palace is a beautiful and worth visiting attraction, prepare the camera as you will have a lot to capture.
