Cafe dell oppera

The café is a typical italian one with a big bar and lot's of people coming to have a quick coffee. They serve quick lunches with Paninis and pre-prepared local dishes which are heaten again in a microwave. The panini I had was very tasty, as well as the Escalope milanese, for a pre-prepared dish. The service was quick and nice and the decior very typical.

It's better though to go there just for a coffee and a quick breakfast rather than for a meal.
When we paid, my italian friend was surprised with the bill, as she thought it was too expensive for what we had and for what she usually pays for this kind of meals. It seems that there is a non official dual pricing in this kind of places, one for locals and other for foreigners. Less
