Dolphin Cove Research & Education Center

Dolphin Cove is a marine education and dolphin swim facility located in sunny Key Largo, Florida.
It's a milestone when visiting Miami and going to the Keys; Key Largo is the closest to mainland, and you should definitly do this memorable experience.

Unlike usual dolphin swimmings in Aqua Parcs and pools, Dolphin Cove is an association which handles Dolphins which had at some point a problem coming too close to coast lines.

I felt that the trainers are very professional and I will remember this experience all my life. 45 minutes doing exercices with these amazing animals is simply wonderful. Better than I expected. It's true that it's a bit expensive, at around 200 USD per person, but for me it was worth it. We took the Structured Dolphins Swim.

We were 2 people with 2 Daulphins and one trainer. You can book you place by internet, which will avoid waiting too much.

Before swimming with the Daulphins, they explain to you how to interact with the Daulphins while making a boat tour in the Everglades, also amazing landscapes;

Directions to get there:
When coming into Key Largo from the north you will pass the Key Largo Resort at Manatee Bay motel on your right, ( Mile Marker 102 ). Start slowing down, within a block or so you will see the large Dolphin Cove sign and entrance.

When coming into Key Largo from the south, watch for Tarpon Basin Drive ( second traffic light ). Slow down after passing this light because you will soon see our large Dolphin Cove sign on your left. If you drive past and see Key largo Resort at Manatee Bay, make a U-turn and come back to us.Less
