Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II

I've put the Galleria in the Monument section rather than in the Shopping's as it's much more a monument than a real shopping gallery nowadays.

This gallery is definitly the most beautiful and grandiose I had the opportunity to see. It's Iron and Glass ceiling, scarved buildings facades and floor mosaic makes it a real beaty.
Unfortunatly, it became so touristic that its cafés and shops are too expensive and real tourist traps. Locals seldom eat there, except for taking a coffee standing at one of the inside bars.

In addition to its own beauty, the Galleria links the Piazza de la Scala with the famous Scala Opéra House and the Piazza del Duomo, Milan's magnificent Cathedral.
