L'absinthe is one of Michel Rostang's bistrots, currently managed by one of his daughters; Michel Rostang is the first Michelin Star chef that started to open traditional french bistrots with an upper level of cuisine, commonly called now Bistronomie;

Located in the Place du Marché Saint Honoré, between the Louvre Palace, the Opera Garnier and Place Vendôme, l'Absinthe is definitly when of the best quality-price restaurants in the neighborhood;

Decorated like a railway station restaurant with its huge clock, the food served is excellent; It mixes classical french dishes with a twist of creativity and exotic touch; The dishes are very well presented and the service efficient;

Very good address;
