La Gauloise dates since 1900 and has been for long years a famous brasserie cherished by its loyal customers. It was recently renovated since the son took over the place after his father, but kept the positioning of this typical french brasserie.

Good and well prepared traditional french food, homemade deserts, friendly service, a nice terrasse, and a very nice Napoleon style decor, all this at reasonable prices for Paris.

I had the 22 EUR formula with the poireux tièdes, the fondant de boeuf and the choux à la chantilly. All of them very tasty and well prepared;

My friends had a steak tartare and enjoyed it too;

I would recommend La Gauloise when you're nearby.
