La Laiterie Sainte-Clotilde

Great discovery of that small bistrot between Varenne and Grenelle neighborhoods, in the heart of the 7th district.
Laiterie Sainte Clothilde was introduced to me by a friend living in the neighborhood, and what a good surprise.
It's a really tiny bistrot, with small tables very close to each others and very simple decoration. The welcome is quite friendly but the best part in the place is the food.

The menu is short with 3 or 4 choices for each course, but they are all very well prepared.
We had the Salmon Sashimi and the Gniocci as starters and both were excellent;
The Beef steak was very tender and served with an amazing sauce.
The cheese cake and pineapple salad were both excellent, with rich flavours.

The 3 course menu is at 24 EUR, which is a bargain for this quality of food in Paris.Less
