Read at Cărtureşti

Cărtureşti is one of the libraries where sometimes I go just to hang out and relax. The atmosphere is so unique, you won't feel that you are in a library. Although the shelves are loaded with books, you won't walk away with just a book from this library! And if you were planning on just buying a book and leaving, forget it! This little library is filled with a thousand more little things like pens, pencils, coffee and tea mugs, postcards, DVDs and CDs, even chocolate! My favorites are the mugs from the ``Keep calm and...`` collection . You will find here many things you wouldn't imagine existing in a library. I once bought a fortune cookie from Cărtureşti !
You will get so succumbed by all these little things that you can buy, that you just won't notice how fast time passes!

So if you think that Cărturești is only a library for bookworms, I would have to ask you to reconsider! Yes, there are many books, but still this place has something special, not to mention the fact that you can find here many books that you can't find in other libraries in Cluj. For example I've been searching for a long time Jonathan Safran Foer`s book Extremely close and incredibly loud when I stumbled on it at Cărtureşti. So, if you are searching for a book you haven't found in any library in Cluj, just try searching it at Cărtureşti as well!

I would recommend this place also to those who are in a difficulty finding the right gift for a friend. They will certainly find something beautiful, even personalized.

Cărtureşti is located in the Iulius mall in Cluj-Napoca, right next to Auchan. So, if you have shopping to do at Auchan just drop by at Cărturești! Less
