The Dimitrie Gusti National Village Museum is a museum I visited during my stay in the capital of Romania, Bucharest. Since I love open air museums I visit them every time I'm in a city, which has such a museum.

I visited it by chance, but I'm glad I did. I was wandering with a friend in Herăstrău Park, when she suddenly suggested that we should visit this great open air museum, which is right in this park, not far away. Said and done, the next moment we were back in time, among traditional Romanian village houses from different periods and different parts of Romania. I really enjoyed spending time there, I recommend it to all those who want to have free time and want to have a pleasant walk or to all those want to learn more about Romanian history and culture.
