Amsterdam is one of Europe\'s fun cities to spend a great time partying for the New Year\'s. A week in Amsterdam and I guarantee you\'ll forget your daily hustle and worries. Arrive early i.e. 28 December and leave 3 or 4 January. An early arrival gives you plenty of time to chose the right restaurant for NY\'s Eve diner and plan your walk between the many squares and cultural and firework parades. During the day, take a tour on the Amsterdam canal, it will give you a nice perspective on the city\'s historical background. Visit the Heineken experience, there\'s nothing like the taste of a freshly brewed bear! Amsterdam has many museums: the most famous are Van Gogh and Rijks, which covers all of Rembrandt\'s collection. It also has many fun museums such as the torture, sex and erotic museums. For flower lovers, the flower market is the place to visit. You will also get the chance to buy the typical souvenirs and gifts for loved ones. Finally, don\'t miss the half day tour in Amsterdam\'s suburbs where the guide takes you in a tour at three very rustic villages each specialized in the cheese and typical wooden shoes manufacturing and the famous windmills. At night, don\'t miss the walk in the \"Red District\" quarter and when you\'re tired from walking I recommend a drink and some dancing at the Rembrandt Plein where you have many clubs for all choices of beats. The most famous are the Ice Bar, Escape and Air.
