One little unique bakery

Type : Bakery-Pastry
I really appreciate local bakeries where you can still buy a nice and most of all tasty piece of bread, so I always look for these bakeries when I'm in a foreign country. Oud Huis Himschoot is a bakery to die for. Situated in one of the most picturesque squares of Ghent and having a self-employed baker, this small, but very delightful bakery is the favorite of locals and tourists alike. Entering the bakery you will certainly be overwhelmed by the smell of fresh bread and by just having a look at the place you might get stuck on the phrase: what should I choose, as everything looks so tasty you certainly would like to just try it all! Every nook and cranny of this place is filled with delicious homemade breads and pastries, and there are more than 70 varieties. How could you decide, which one to choose? But if you really can't decide, I would suggest to go with something local, and ask for a local specialty the "mastel". A mastel is a small bread, which looks like a doughnut, but in fact is made of brioche dough to which cinnamon is added. It is excellent for breakfast! But if you want bread you're in trouble, because you will certainly get lost between all the varieties. However, you could go for the bio bread, which comes in a lot of types: with muesli, with pumpkin seed, sunflower seed, linseed, sesame seed or melon seed. There is also an interestingly named koala bread, made of Australian bio flour. If it wasn't for all the other beautiful places, restaurants and cafés, I would say that Oud Huis Himschoot alone makes Ghent worth visiting!

Vélizy 2 shopping Mall
A very Nice mall west of Paris
Vélizy, France
Vélizy, France
Type : Shopping mall
Vélizy 2 is mu preferred shopping mall in the western suburb of Paris. First, it's relatively close to Paris since it will take you around 15-20 minutes to go there from Paris 15 and 16th districts; It offers all kinds of shops, including Department and Media stores, an Auchan big supermarket, restaurants and cinemas, as well as the main classical brand shops you see in Malls. In addition, next to the mall you'll find an Ikea specialized in Kitchens and Bathrooms, a Decathlon and some other services. The mall was recently renovated, with a new glass roof giving a much nocer lighting inside, as well as a better organization of Parkings with electronic features allowing you to easilly find free places. With Val d'Europe, Vélizy is my favourite mall around Paris. The advantage of Vélizy 2 is that it's closer to Paris, especially when living west of the city, whereas Val d'Europe is bigger and has the factory outlet village which makes a big difference. Opening Hours: Monday and Saturday: 10-00 to 20h00 Tuesday to Friday: 10-00 to 22-00 Exceptional openings on most Bank Holidays and Sundays in December Going there from Paris: By car: Take N118 ouest of Paris By Bus: Line 179 • Pont de Sèvres – Vélizy 2 - Gare RER de Robinson Line 190 • Mairie d'Issy - Vélizy 2 Line 291 • Pont de Sèvres - Vélizy 2 Line 295 • Porte d'Orléans - Vélizy 2
