There are two ways to visit the symbol of the French Democracy, the Chamber of Deputies, the low house of the French Parliament. Either during the Journées du Patrimoine on the 3rd Week end of September, or by requesting an invitation by a Member of Parliament.

The Palais Bourbon is full of French history, and is definitly worth the visit, especially that you can join both visits with the Quai d'Orsay in the same afternoon in the Journée du Patrimoine.
