Hitachi Seaside Park in Japan
One of the most spectacular natural displays on earth. This huge spacious park is home to a variety of colorful flowers and grasses throughout the four seasons, as well as numerous other attractions.

The park is located on the Pacific Ocean side of the Japanese coast, and incorporates a unique natural environment of sand dunes, forests, grasslands and springs.

Special Events

Suisen Fantasy (from late march to mid-April): one million narcissuses of over 600 species that bloom across a hectare of land under the pinewoods.

Tulip World (Mid to late April): The colorful tulips (220 varieties and 280,000 individual plants) extend to the Tamago no Mori, where you'll find egg-shaped toys here and there.

Nemophila Harmony (Late April to mid-May): In spring, 4.5 million nemophilas (baby blue eyes) paint the 3.5-hectare Miharashi Hills light blue. The nemophilas are stunning under the blue sky against the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean.

Kochia Carnival (Late September to mid-October): In October, kochias (summer cypress) turns the Miharashi hills from green to crimson against the backdrop of the ocean and sky. Cosmoses cover the hillside with flowers of white, pink, and red. Hitachi Seaside Park is in full swing in autumn.

Winter Fair (Mid December to mid-January): There's a host of fun events to enjoy in winter, including food tasting, which is available only in winter. And you can experience the fireplace "Irori" in the old house at year's end, as well as at New Year.
