Navagio Beach

If you reached Zakynthos it means that you need to see the famous Shipwreck Beach also known as the Navagio Beach or Paralia Navagio.

From the city of Zakynthos you take a boat from one of the islands ports; we personally took one from the city of Zakynthos and it took us about two and a half hours to reach the beach.

The see here has a spectacular color with almost white water and strong cold waves. Usually boats stop here for 1 hour and you can swim or check out the Shipwreck. As far as swimming, we were not that lucky as the waves were very high and the water was extremely cold. Still, it was a trip worth taking as we have some nice memories from the spot.

P.S. Check for a boat that will stop for swimming at the blue caves on it's way back! It is the best deep water place to swim! Less
