The Palais de la Découverte is located in the west wing of the Grand Palais in a beautiful building called Palais d'Antin.

It all started in 1937, when a temporary exhibition on the Arts and Technics of Modern Life organized by Nobel Price in Physics (1926) Jean Perrin and Bilogist Jean Rostand has such a popular success that it was decided to make it a permant exhibition is this beautiful place.

Many experiments make you discover some of natures wonders, and the Palais de la découverte is a premium place to discover when visiting Paris with children.

Palais de la Découverte have been officially linked in 2009 to the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie, another interesting place to visit with Children and showing sort of similar informative tourism. Musée d'histoire naturelle is another great place to visit with Children on the informative/science themes.
