Being one of the only walled city in Romania that are still standing upright in good condition and even inhabited Sighisoara gather every year thousands of Romanian and foreign tourists.

Sighisoara is one of the cities from Transylvania that deserve a visit even for a few hours. From the Fortress up to the streets and old buildings, all breathes the rich history of the area.

And because every tourist needs a break to get a snack and recharge the batteries, I will recommend you a tree options full of personality for the lunch or dinner.

Joseph T Restaurant & Wine Bar
The hotel restaurant, Central Park, from Sighisoara is an excellent choice for a relaxing meal for lunch or a romantic dinner extended, due to its location in downtown, near the park at just 150 meters from the Clock Tower and the Medieval Fortress. Joseph T Restaurant &Wine Bar is unique because here the tourists are encouraged to taste some of the most noble wines of the area.

Casa cu Cerb (The House with Stag)
The Restaurant House with Stag is easy to find thanks to the outer painting representing a deer in size. Placed in one of the oldest buildings in the city, initially built as a home wooden frame in the thirteenth century and modernized in the seventeenth century house with deer, is open as a restaurant and as a cultural center Roman-German for 17 years. Among the specialties prepared worth mentioning primarily the deer steak, extremely popular among both the Romanian and foreign tourists.

Casa Dracula (Dracula's House)
Located in the town center, near the tower, the restaurant is in one of the oldest buildings in town, lived in the house where ruler Vlad the Impaler. Besides the traditional food prepared according to the local customs and served in generous portions, the restaurant The house of Dracula has to offer and a unique experience, customers can ask to visit Vlad Tepes room.

The three restaurants that I presented caught my attention very much, but are not the only ones. In the center of Sighisoara you will find many more locations, both very nice coffee shops and restaurants surrounded by a lovely atmosphere.
